Who we are

Approli is operated by RedOpal Inc. (“RedOpal”, “we”, “us”). References to Approli in this policy mean the service RedOpal provides.

Who this covers

Approli is an HR management platform. Employers use it to administer their people; employees use it to manage their own working life. This policy is intended to describe what happens to personal data in both cases.

What we expect to collect

  • Identity and contact details, such as name, work email and phone number.
  • Employment details, such as job title, department, manager and start date.
  • Attendance and leave records created through normal use of the product.
  • Payroll and compensation data, where the employer uses those features.
  • Technical data such as IP address and browser, recorded for security.

Roles and responsibilities

In most cases the employer decides what data is collected and why, and Approli processes it on their behalf and under their instructions. If you are an employee, your employer is the first point of contact for questions about your own record.

Retention

Data is retained for as long as the employer's account is active, and afterwards only where a legal obligation requires it. Specific retention periods will be set out in the final version of this policy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or erase your personal data, and to object to certain processing. The final policy will explain how to exercise these and how long we take to respond.
